What is FUE Hair Transplant?
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique. Individual hair follicles are carefully extracted from the back of your scalp (donor area) and implanted into areas with hair thinning or baldness.
It is safe, virtually painless, and leaves no visible scars, giving a natural-looking hairline with long-lasting results.
Who is the Right Candidate?
- You have noticeable bald patches or thinning hair
- You want a permanent solution for hair loss
- You have a healthy donor area with sufficient hair growth
- You are in good health and have realistic expectations
- You prefer a scar-free procedure with quick recovery
How Does the Procedure Work?
- Scalp is numbed with local anesthesia
- Hair follicles are individually extracted from the donor area
- Tiny, natural-looking incisions are created in the recipient area
- Each follicle is carefully implanted to maximize density and create a natural hairline
- Procedure may take 4–8 hours depending on the number of grafts
- Patients can go home the same day and return to work within a few days
